The APICS BCIT Student Chapter is a student-run organization with members from the two-year Business Operations Management Diploma program. It is affiliated with the Vancouver and Fraser Valley APICS Web Design regional chapters. APICS stands for “Advancing Productivity, Innovation and Competitive Success”. APICS BCIT aims to provide access to real-world business experience for its members and the BCIT student community as a whole through taking advantage of the wide array of opportunities available to Business Operations Management students. APICS BCIT’s Board of Directors is comprised of both first and second-year students. This year we also have members from outside Business Operations Management, so feel free to join and see the benefits you can get from a membership with APICS BCIT. This year, the Board of Directors will focus on further increasing memberships and ensuring that BCIT students have access to extracurricular activities such as plant tours, school project presentations, and networking events with industry professionals.
